John Aleles is responsible for the management and oversight of administration including staffing and human resources, licensing compliance, training, information systems, contract administration and office operations. Mr. Aleles is a former member of the New York City Police Department who retired from the rank of Sergeant Special Assignment (a rank occupied by only 1.5% of all Sergeants in the NYPD). He served 6 years on patrol, 4 years as an investigator with the Applicant Processing Division, and 10 years as the Commanding Officer of the Detail Section. Each year, as C.O., he was responsible for staffing over 5,000 events with NYPD personnel and equipment throughout N.Y.C. This responsibility also included the management of all event related straight time and overtime costs. Some of his noteworthy accomplishments include staffing for the NYC Papal Visit, the Millenium Celebration in Times Square, Operation Sail, the World Trade Center Disaster and the World Economic Forum.
