John Bozzuto joined T&M in July 2014 as Regional Director of the Executive Protection division and manages security operations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Prior to joining T&M, Mr. Bozzuto was the Manager in Charge of the Maryland Branch of Guardsmark, LLC, where he supervised 250 security officers and account managers and directed a wide range of security services to include uniformed security guards, risk assessments and executive protection.
Mr. Bozzuto’s professional security experience began with what ultimately culminated in a successful twenty-seven year career with the United States Secret Service (USSS). Among his various positions with the USSS, Mr. Bozzuto most notably served as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAIC) of the Presidential Protection Division, where his responsibilities included overseeing 300 special agents who provided close protection for former President George W. Bush and reviewing and approving the site security plans for all presidential travel. Mr. Bozzuto also served as the Secret Service Assistant Attaché for the American Embassy in London, England, as the NSSE Steering Committee Chair for the 2005 Presidential Inauguration, and for 4 years on the Counter Assault Team (CAT), a special weapons and tactics team that supported the President and Vice President. Additional leadership roles that he has held include the ASAIC for both the Technical Security Division and the Dignitary Protective Division, and the Security Coordinator for the State Funeral of President Ronald Reagan. Throughout his career, Mr. Bozzuto received numerous Sustained Performance and Superior Achievement Awards acknowledging his outstanding contributions to the USSS.
Mr. Bozzuto has a Bachelor of Arts from Point Loma University.
