Robert S. Tucker has directed the strategic growth and diversification of T&M since becoming a principal of the company in 1999. Prior to that he spent nearly a decade in law enforcement management, serving as Special Assistant to the District Attorney of Queens County, New York, where he developed an extensive network of contacts in the law enforcement community in the New York metropolitan area while managing administrative aspects of a major urban prosecutor’s office. This experience enabled him to work closely with executive level members of the New York City Police Department and the City administration, as well as with the FBI, Secret Service and the United States Attorney’s Office, where he still maintains valuable relationships.

Today, Mr. Tucker is leading T&M to national and international prominence as a sophisticated, multidimensional protection and investigations company that provides corporations and high net-worth individuals with a full range of products and discreet solutions that enable them to respond to the threats and risks of the 21st Century.

Mr. Tucker, a graduate of The George Washington University and Pace University School of Law, is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the United States Supreme Court. In 2009, Governor David Paterson appointed Mr. Tucker to serve as a Vice Chairman of the New York State Security Guard Advisory Council, and in June 2013, Governor Andrew Cuomo appointed Mr. Tucker as its Chairman, where he served until October 2021. In February 2014, the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York appointed Mr. Tucker as a member of the Committee on Character and Fitness for the Ninth Judicial District. In November 2015, Mr. Tucker received the Distinguished Service Award from the Citizens Crime Commission of New York. In December 2016, Mr. Tucker was awarded the Eugene R. Fink Memorial Award by the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State (ALDONYS) for his outstanding contributions in enhancing the professionalism of the security and investigations industry. He serves as a Police Board Commissioner of the Westchester County Police Department, a role he was appointed to in January 2017 by County Executive Robert P. Astorino. In June 2017, he was honored at the New York Board of Rabbis Humanitarian Awards Dinner. In April 2018, Mr. Tucker received the Public Service Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. In December 2018, he was appointed to Pace University's Board of Trustees. He was reappointed to serve as a Police Board Commissioner of the Westchester County Police Department in January 2019 by County Executive George S. Latimer and was later named to the Police Training Task Force by County Executive Latimer in June 2020.

Among his many professional, civic and philanthropic affiliations, Mr. Tucker is Secretary of the FDNY Foundation and an honorary Fire Commissioner of the City of New York; member of the Board of Trustees and Secretary/Treasurer of the New York City Police Foundation and an honorary Police Commissioner of the City of New York; and past President of ALDONYS. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of White Plains Hospital; Vice President of the Richard Tucker Music Foundation; and a former member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization, Metro Chapter).
